What does too big, reset skew mean in the RTPJitterBuffer and how can I mitigate it?

Could someone kindly outline what too big, reset skew means in the RTPJitterBuffer? What sort of impact would I see to the media flowing through and is there a way to mitigate against it?

This is when the GStreamer jitterbuffer clock vs remote clock are considered to far appart. The side effects get reflected later downstream of your pipeline. For video, it may or may not cause a small jump, but often invisible. But for audio it could mean a small glitch. But most of the time not.

Gotcha, thanks for the explanation Nicolas.
